HYPERTUFANEWS

I want To Share Some Pictures of A Huge Project That Where sent to Me

The easiest way for me to do this is just copy and paste their e-mail to me and you can read it.

Having said that here it is:

Just thought you might like to see the project hubby and I took on while he was on vacation.  It is all hand formed hypertufa.  He mixed, I formed.  The largest flower bed is over 50' feet long and at the widest 15'.  It is the picture with the step.  It is a raised bed on the south end.  The rocks on the pathway.  Were bought locally.  I don't have any idea what the recipe is but they are light like hypertufa.  I have more pics if your interested.

Thanks

Sorry I forgot to mention in the other email the recipe we used.

1 parts Portland

2 parts vermiculite

2 parts peat moss

I really enjoy your site.

Thanks

Trudy

I don't know about you but I'm sure impressed by this.  It's a ton of work, imagine hand forming all those borders!  They have a lot more ambition than I have.

Congratulations on a beautiful piece of work, I am sure it will inspire others to get on the 'Tufa wagon.

Here are the pictures:
